Description:
Tall, bushy thallus. Holdfast thin and fibrous. From dichotomous to irregular branching. Apices were dichotomously branched at first. Blades smooth edges, strap-shaped blades. One thick cell in the medulla; rows of irregularly shaped, rectangular cells. Rows of rectangular surface cells are placed longitudinally. 15–26 centimeters tall. Dark yellow-brown in color.
