Description:
It has elongated body which is broadly cylindrical and rounded in cross section. Mouth is small, Pre-dorsal scales are 30-35. Pelvics is longer than head originating nearer caudal fin than the eye. In terms of coloration, body is bluish above and silvery below. It has soft fin rays which are spineless.
