Description:
The fish is identifiable by its distinctive coloration, featuring a range of red to green hues adorned with small, bright blue spots on the body. The head exhibits a brownish color with orange lines, and the caudal fin is characterized by a yellow shade. In large males, a notable green bar appears on the body above the anal fin origin.Juveniles display a different color pattern, appearing in shades of red to orange. They exhibit three black-edged white saddles on the back, accompanied by two similar but smaller markings on the head.
