Description:
Shell of medium size, pointed at both ends, very much inflated in the middle giving a deformed-look, body whorl angulated at the centre, columella smooth, with callus at the lower half, umbilicus either open or closed, siphonal canal stunted and shallow. Sculptured with slightly broad axial ribs becoming obsolete near suture and crossed by numerous, close-set, scabrous spiral cords. Colour dirty white, aperture white.

St. Martin’s island and occasionally in Sonadia island
