Description:
Shell medium, thick, heavy, shape variable, body whorl with spiral threads and axial striae; spire high, with pointed apex; aperture long and narrow, open side slightly convex, somewhat broader anteriorly. Colour: white to white-bluish with reddish-brown streaks and mottling, a white spiral band around the body whorl, aperture porcelaneous white.
