Description:
Resembling Congresox talabanoides, it distinguishes itself with longer pectoral fins. The count of dorsal fin rays before the anus ranges from 70 to 75, while there are 41–42 lateral line pores before the anus and 143–149 vertebrae. In terms of coloration, the head and body exhibit a yellow hue with a bronze tint and the underside is white. The dorsal and anal fins feature narrow black edges.
