Description:
It has well developed pectoral fin. Fin-rays are segmented. Upper lip folded with groove. Teeth small, premaxillary teeth not protrude when mouth closed. Teeth conical. vomerine teeth conical, in short band. Dorsal fin origin far behind tip of pectoral. Vertebrae 142-145 in total. Rear of caudal is compressed. Anus on anterior half of body. Body color is deep brown, pale below.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Cox’s Bazar and Patuakhali regions.
