The majority of plant structures are hollow and subspherical. They grow erratically lobed and extended with age, appearing alone or in clusters. The thallus wall is made up of two to three cell layers and is 0.3 to 0.4 mm thick. The cortical layer is made up of colored cells, while the inner cells are big and colorless. diameter, usually 2–5 cm, but maybe up to 10 cm. The colors are beige to brown with hints of yellow.
