Description:
The belly displays a total of 13–19 scutes and the tip of the maxilla is pointed, not extending to the edge of the gill cover. In terms of color, the overall hue is light brown, with silvery flanks and the dorsum has some black pigment. The fins are either white or lack pigmentation.
