Description:
D1 II/11; D2 absent; P1 VI/6; P2 I/9; A+C127. Body color golden-brown with dark pigmentation behind the gill opening; fins hyaline. Body compressed, deepest under dorsal fin base, becoming keeled and more compressed behind pelvic fin base, with six pre-pelvic and ten or eleven post-pelvic scutes.
