Description:
The species is characterized by pelvic fins that do not reach the anus, a preorbital region without scales, 6–7 unbranched lower pectoral rays, and 43–45 lateral line scales. There are 3 rows of scales between the lateral line and the base of the 4th dorsal spine. In terms of coloration, the fish exhibits a rosy hue with light longitudinal lines. Additionally, there is a large, ill-defined dark blotch below the soft dorsal fin, and a dark spot is present behind the upper edge of the opercle.
