The bell of Chiropsalmus buitendujki is box-shaped, featuring four clearly defined sides. Each pedalium has five to six fingers, and tentacles are arranged in a linear series on the outer side of the main shaft. Around the mouth, there is a circle of stinging tentacles. The bell cavity contains eight elongated, simple, finger-shaped subumbrellar gastric saccules, nearly equal in length to the depth of the bell.
