The organism possesses small eyes, and its first antenna features an accessory flagellum with multiple segments. The third article of the mandibular palp is either rectilinear or clavate in shape. Its coxae are relatively small and short, with the first coxa being dilated and extending forward.
In males, the first gnathopod is subchelate, while the second gnathopod is also subchelate and notably larger than the first one. Pereopods 6 and 7 have an elongated, falcate dactylus. Uropods 1 and 2 are biramous, with their rami being slightly subequal, and the peduncle features a ventrodistal process. Uropod 3, on the other hand, is uniramous. The telson remains undivided and whole.
