Description:
This organism has a filamentous structure, with no branching, and it often intertwines with other algae, occasionally creating a spongy accumulation. The filaments have a thickness ranging from 25 to 75 μm, and the length of the cells is approximately 2-4 times their diameter, with slight narrowing at the points where the cell walls intersect. These plants display a light green coloration.
