Description:
The shell is of moderate size, taking on a tall and spindle-shaped appearance, consisting of 9 to 13 whorls. These whorls are rough and swollen, and the sutures between them are clearly defined. The body whorl is notably wide. The aperture is large and wide, nearly circular in shape, with a long, tubular, and bent anterior canal, and a short anal canal, which is lined by a parietal columellar plait. The outer lip is textured with wrinkles and is thick, displaying furrows on the inside. The columella is concave and fortified with a substantial callus. Externally, the shell is cream or pale yellow in color, marked with speckles or mottles of reddish-brown, while the aperture and columella are white.
