Description:
The shell is small, solid, and elongate-quadrate in shape. The umbones are located at the anterior end of the shell. The shell has rounded radial ribs that are stronger on the posterior than the anterior. The ribs are broader towards the dorsal margin and crossed by somewhat lamellate growth lines. The shell is yellowish-white in color with widely spaced dark brown spots on the ribs. The inside of the shell is whitish with occasionally brownish markings on the muscle scars and on the hinge.

Throughtout the Sundarbans Mangrove forest, St. Martins Island, Teknaf and the Coxs Bazar area
