Description:
Snout is long and narrowly pointed. First dorsal fin is small with extremely long free rear tips, its origin over or behind pectoral fin insertions. Second dorsal fin low with extremely long free rear tips, its origin behind anal fin origin. Pectoral fin, lower caudal fins are sometimes pale-edged. No inter-dorsal ridge is present.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
Inshore and offshore continental waters. Bay of Bengal.
