Description:
An adult’s distinctive breeding plumage features a brick-orange patch on the upperwing, a blackish back, and a mottled black chest. grey brown above, white below, with grey mottling in the neck and upper breast are the characteristics of duller nonbreeding and juvenile plumage. The smaller Red Knot has a shorter bill and considerably paler nonbreeding plumage.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
It was found near Nijhum Dwip area. It occurs on the coasts of southeast and southwest regions of the country
