Description:
Breeding adults have a rusty head similar to Red-necked, but with a darker tendril and a longer rusty streak down the breast. Adults and youngsters that are not breeding have a darker ear patch, a pronounced crown stripe, and are generally paler than Red-necked. They also do not have the rusty head.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
This highly threatened bird was seen around Nijhum Dwip area. It occurs in the coastal mudflats in southeast region of the country
