From a lateral view, the ventral surface of the genital segment forms a straight line behind the genital pore. The genital plate has a smooth curve in its posterior part and is truncated in the anterior section, covering the proximal part of the chitinized seminal receptacles, which are slightly tilted along the body’s long axis. The posterior corners of the last thoracic segment are consistently rounded. The serrations are densely spaced and lack sharp edges.
Notably, the medial line of the second segment of the basipodite of the fifth swimming leg (P5) is more curved compared to other species. The spiniform process on the distal front edge of the P5 basipodite is consistently slender and sharp. The distal corner of the first segment of the endopodite narrows smoothly. For the first swimming leg (P1), the inner edge of the first endopodal segment carries a single seta. In contrast, both the inner and outer edges of the third endopodal segment of P5 each bear three setae. Photoreceptory glands are located near the lateral gland in this species. In males, the P5 exhibits an almost equal number of setae on both the right and left branches. The outer distal process on the second endopodal segment of the left P5 extends to or beyond the distal edge of the first exopodal segment of this leg.
