Description:
Shell tall, stout, fusiform with pointed apex. Spire tall and gradually tapering; thin band of the numerous axial ribs present just below the suture. 8 whorls; outer surface sculptured by fine longitudinal and circular threads; 3 rows of beaded spiral cords just below the sutures. Aperture rather wide and oval, outer lip thin with a thick margin; inner lip and columella smooth, anterior siphonal canal notched, broad and deep. Outer surface dark brown; apex and aperture reddish brown, both lips creamy.
