In males, the anterior ventral process on the sixth abdominal segment is significantly shorter than the posterior process. The ventral process on the telson is of moderate size. The outer spine of the uropodal exopod in males nearly reaches the distal end of the exopod, while it is considerably shorter in females and does not extend anywhere near the exopod’s distal end.
The petasma in males lacks a hook and has a subconical shape. It features distal longitudinal rows of fine scales, along with small plate-like structures that have complete margins. Additionally, the processus of the petasma is long and needle-like, finely setose along its medial part, without a dense brush of long terminal setae.
