Description:
Shell thin, inflated, elongate-ovate, rostrate anteriorly, rounded posteriorly, more than 3 times longer than high, widely gaping anteriorly, posteriorly narrow. Umbonal reflection nearly adhering to the shell. Sculptured with strong radial and concentric ridges; radial ridges anteriorly stronger and posteriorly weaker with tubercles at the intersections with lamellae. Pallial sinus deep. Inner surface with a long narrow internal blade or apophysis under the beak. Colour: dirty white, interior milky-white.
