The crab’s carapace is almost hexagonal in shape and is very convex. The dactylus of the palm is hook-like, curved, and overhangs the tip of the fixed finger (the finger that is not movable). The merus of the last pair of legs is not as broad as that of the two preceding pairs (the two pairs that come before it). The carapace is pale orange, the major cheliped has a yellowish color and the ambulatories are orange to yellow.
