The central portion of the body forms a noticeable raised hump. The shell is greatly diminished, being thin and transparent, composed of horn-like material and entirely enveloped by a delicate, white calcareous mantle. The mantle cavity is located on the right side and houses a folded, fleshy ctenidium that points backward. The ventral part of the foot is broad and has a pair of fleshy, lateral parapodia. The foot ends in a short, well-defined tail. The body is primarily greenish-black in color, featuring irregular spotted patterns reminiscent of eye-like ocelli.
