Description:
The species have secondary pit connectivity. The endophytic base of the erect, bushy thalli is supported by other calcareous algae. distinct, geometric, and regular branching. This species has a maximum size of about 30 cm. often reach a height of 2-4 cm. A. cryptarthrodia has darker apices because to annular ridges, yet its overall color ranges from dark red to pink violet.
