Description:
Adult species exhibit a reddish-orange body with a distinctive black saddle or spot on their sides. Unlike small juveniles, mature individuals lack the presence of 2 or 3 white bars. They typically possess 10-11 dorsal spines, 2 anal spines, 16-18 dorsal soft rays, and 13-14 anal soft rays. The fish can reach a maximum length of 12 cm.
