Description:
The central disk is encased in tiny overlapping scales or plates, creating a clear border around the edge. The arms are elongated. The side arm plates have three-pointed spines. The outer edge of the upper arm plates is slightly curved. The oral shields are wide at the end, narrowing and rounding toward the base. The oral plates have four oral papillae, with one below the teeth column and three on each side of the jaw.
