Description:
Amphibalanus reticulatus is identified by its conical to cylindrical shell with shell plates marked by vertical purple striations. Unlike some other species, it lacks intersecting longitudinal and transverse stripes on the plates. The shell consists of six sections forming a truncated cone that is anchored to a basal plate. These sections are joined at sutured edges and reinforced through chemical interlocking.

Epibiotic, found on bay and nearshore.
