Description:
The shrimp has a pinkish-red body with green dots. Its large claw is larger than half its body. The carapace is cylindrical in shape. The shrimp has a pistol-like feature that is made of two parts. The “hammer” part can move backward into a right angle position.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
In Bangladesh, it is found in most of the coastal areas, in St. Martins Island and Sundarbans area
