It possesses a slender and elongated pneumatophore adorned with reddish-brown pigment at the tip. Eight extended lamellae extend from the pneumatosaccus to the pneumatocodon. In fully developed, large specimens, there are14 pairs of mature nectophores. The muscular lamella is wide and connected to a short pedicular canal. The ostium is tetragonal in shape and features a well-developed velum. The siphosome is rigid and non-contractile.Both male and female gonodendra have short stalks, located at the bases of the palpons, arranged alternately, and separated by groups of bracts. There are 10-12 androphores, each with thin, long pedicels. They have a distinct medusoid structure with an umbrella, radial canals, and ostium. The manubrium is mouthless but contains germ cells.
