Description:
It possesses a cylindrical shape, elongated and slightly curved upwards on the back, with a flattened underside. The upper side is uniformly black in color, while the lower side is lighter. The bivium features numerous, long, and slender papillae, while on the trivium, long and thick podia are arranged relatively regularly in close rows along the radii. The mouth is located on the ventral side and is surrounded by 20 sturdy tentacles. The anus is encircled by 5 robust, triangular anal teeth. The calcareous ring consists of large radial pieces and narrow interradials. Cuvierian tubules are not present. Both the ventral and dorsal podia have some rosettes, and both the podia and papillae carry large spicules.
