The horizontal branches extend thinly and spread outwards. The upward-pointing branchlets are delicate. It’s challenging to distinguish between the axial and radial corallites at the tips of these branchlets. On the sides of the branches, the radial corallites are tube-shaped, with slightly flared openings. Typically, the coloration is grey or a vibrant blue-green or yellow. The tips of the branches can be yellow, lime green, pale blue, or brown.
