In the male, there’s a distinctive characteristic on the right leg of the fifth pair (P5), with the first segment having a distal process. The urosome in males is comprised of five segments. The first antenna (A1) is geniculate on the right side only, showing a bend in that direction.Conversely, in the female, the first antenna (A1) extends all the way to the tip of the caudal rami and features a spine on the basal segment. The prosome terminates with a pair of symmetrical points, giving it a unique appearance. The exopod of the fifth pair of legs (P5) in females is modified to resemble a spine, with serrations on both sides. The urosome exhibits fine dorsal hairs along the posterior border of the first two somites. Additionally, the genital somite is longer than the following somite in females.
