Description:
Color reddish brown chromatophores on pale white background, chromatophores dark and closely set on the head above the eyes. Body is elongate, mid-rib of gladius clearly visible through mantle skin. Arm sucker rings with broad, large, square (5 to 9) on the distal margin. More than half the length (up to 75%) of the left ventral arm hectocotylized, papillae not fused, in male. Tentacular clubs large median manal sucker ring with 14-17 teeth.
