Description:
The coloration of the shell is greenish with brownish-grey, and the external surface of the operculum is also brownish-grey, while the internal surface is purplish-grey. The scutum is triangular and larger than the tergum. Its external surface has horizontal striations, and the occluding margin has very shallow teeth. The mandible has four large teeth, with the first tooth having three small spines. The lower margin of the mandible is pectinate. The tergum is narrow with a beaked apex, and it has a long, sharp spur. The shell consists of four fused and inseparable plates. The parietes have eight rows of multi-tubiferous parietal tubes.
