It features a flatter, less conical shell shape. The shell consists of eight wall plates: the carina, right carino-lateral-1, right carino-lateral-2, right rostro-lateral, rostrum, left rostro-lateral, left carino-lateral-2, and left carino-lateral-1. Shallow, oval-shaped depressions occur at the junctions between these plates which are common settling spots for dwarf males.
