In male shrimp, the distolateral projections of the petasma are slender, hom-like, and straight. The distomedian projections are small and curved ventrally. In female shrimp, the anterior plate of the thelycum is square, concave, and has a slender stem-like posterior process. The body is pale brownish or pinkish white. The rostrum and abdominal crest are darker.
