There are more spots on the tail fin. The body is not or only slightly covered in hair-like structures. The rostrum has 6-7 teeth on the back. The telson is armed only with small spines. There is a strong spine on the base of all three pairs of chelipeds.

Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Patuakhali, the Sundarbans and the Bay of Bengal.
