Description:
The ventral margin has a concave shape, while the dorsal margin is convex. When observed from the girdle view, it forms a colonial ribbon composed of rectangular cells. The raphe is extremely short, to the extent that it might be missed, and it’s positioned near both ends of each valve. The apices are elongated and dorsally curved.In the valve view, you can see a ridged, convex edge and a smooth, curved, concave edge. Importantly, the concave side of the valve does not exhibit any swelling in the center.
