Description:
The terminal setae at both ends of the chains exhibit uniform construction and shape. They split into two branches in the apical plane, which is parallel to the chain axis. The inner part of these setae is relatively short and fused. The terminal setae have an arched base and extend outward in a nearly parallel fashion to the chain axis, resembling a bell shape. Each valve typically contains around six inner setae.
