Description:
Chroococcus disperses, a unicellular organism belonging to the cyanobacteria family, exhibits a blue-green color and forms macroscopic colonies that are mound-shaped. Within the outer protective sheath, you can find microscopic colonies with trichomes that aren’t clearly defined. Chroococcus disperses is typically found in colonies consisting of two, four, or eight cells, and these cells are enclosed within a transparent sheath that contains photosynthetic pigments. As a cyanobacterium, it is a prokaryotic organism and lacks the membranous organelles found in eukaryotes.
