Description:
In its natural habitat, this organism appears as a white creature with longitudinal stripes in shades of pink, brown, or purplish hues. These plates exhibit wide longitudinal ribs that taper towards the upper part of the shell.This particular organism is commonly found in intertidal zones and shallow subtidal areas, and it tends to favor hard substrates such as harbors and man-made structures like docks and ship hulls. However, it can also be encountered on various natural surfaces such as logs, mangroves, rocks, and shellfish, making it quite adaptable to different environments.
