The body of this organism is markedly flattened, featuring a sharply conical aboral part and an oval oral part with a rounded, expanded mouth covering the entire oral section. Eight meridional canals are positioned beneath eight rows of densely packed ciliary comb plates. Elongate plates, covering the canals, extend up to three-quarters of the body length from the aboral pole to the mouth. The canals form interconnected networks through diverticulae. The coloration is pink, with a distinct dark color along the ciliary comb rows. The presence of an axial funnel-tube is notable. The aboral pole is adorned with a row of long, branched papillae. Macrocilia are organized in lengthy, tapering stripes extending from the lip edge deep into the stomodaeal cavity. Approximately 20 macrociliary stripes are found on each stomodaeal wall, increasing in length towards the middle of the stomodaeum.
