Description:
Chrysaora quinquecirrha has a bell-shaped or saucer-shaped structure, with medusae typically measuring between 15 to 20 cm in diameter. The color is usually semi-transparent, and the medusa’s hue often ranges from milky white to white, featuring radiating purplish-red stripes on the bell. There are four gonads, each appearing as a convoluted loop, while excretory and respiratory organs are not present. The medusa has four long, diaphanous (light and almost transparent) narrow oral arms that extend well below the bell margin.
