Description:
The bell of Chrysaora helvola exhibits a hemispherical or flat shape. Typically, the umbrella is of a yellowish-brown or reddish-yellow hue, featuring a chestnut-brown star with 32 rays on the exumbrella. The rhopalar stomach pouches are oval-shaped, with the middle portion being twice as wide as the margin, which is half as wide as the tentacular pouches. There are three tentacles per octant.
