Description:
The carapace of this crab is densely covered with short, fine hairs, except for several distinct, transverse ridges in the anterior half, which are bare. The overall color of the crab is orangish red, with the ridges on the carapace and legs being dark reddish brown.
Habitat & Distribution in Bangladesh:
In Bangladesh, is is found only in the Moheshkhali, Sonadia and the Saint Martin’s Islands.
