Description:
The front of the carapace has straight lobes on the sides and a slightly indented rostrum in the middle. The lateral spine (a small, pointed projection) is 0.2 times the width of the carapace. The cheliped (claw) has a five-lobed mid-palmar ridge (a ridge on the palm of the claw) with the second and fourth lobes being pointed, and the second lobe being the largest. The outer surface of the dactylus (the finger of the claw) in the male has a finely milled ridge, but this ridge is absent in the female. The carapace is covered with red dots.
