Description:
The color is a deep reddish-grey, while the aperture appears yellowish-white, and the edge of the outer lip is fringed with black. The aperture has a crescent shape and features a well-defined, smooth columella that is concave, with 3-4 short teeth in the center. The margin of the outer lip has a distinct inward curve, and its inner side is thickened, displaying 17-20 elongated teeth in a longitudinal arrangement, with the last two being larger and the others having a knob-like shape. The shell’s surface is ornamented with 25-35 fine, oblique spiral ribs in a purple-black hue.
