Description:
The shell is small and takes on an ovate shape reminiscent of a crepidula. The spire is quite small. The columellar plate is flat and is adorned with 7-8 small tooth-like projections. The central radula has a slightly broader cusp, while the cusps of the V-lateral are not particularly large. The aperture is wide, and the outer lip is thick with sharp edges. The shell’s external surface varies in color, ranging from yellowish-brown to violet, often featuring some thick black or brown bands. The interior of the aperture can be reddish-brown to pink, and sometimes white. The columellar plate has a smooth, porcelain-like appearance

Sundarbans at Mirgamari beel, Dhansidder Char, Dhabrir Char, Gulbunia,Talbariar char, Hodda and Koikhali areas, St. Martin’s island and Patengaz in Chittagong
